Frequently Asked Questions

Everything buyers usually ask us, grouped by what you're actually trying to figure out.

Research Peptides and Laboratory Use

What these compounds are, and who they are sold to.

What are research peptides?

Research peptides are short chains of amino acids studied in laboratory settings for their role in biological processes, such as cell signaling and structural mechanisms. They're used as tools for scientific investigation, not as finished products for personal use.

Are Cellugenix products for laboratory use only?

Yes. Every product we sell is labeled and sold strictly as a research-grade reagent, intended for qualified professionals working in controlled laboratory environments.

Who are these products intended for?

Laboratories, universities, research institutions, and individually qualified researchers conducting scientific study. They're not intended for the general public or personal use.

Are your products intended for human or animal use?

No. Every compound on this site is sold strictly for in-vitro and laboratory research. None of our products are intended, tested, or approved for human or veterinary use.

Quality, Purity and COA Questions

How compounds are tested, and how to check the results yourself.

Do you provide Certificates of Analysis?

Yes. Compounds are tested by an independent laboratory and the reports are published in our COA library, which you can browse online. Where a compound has no report listed yet, the COA is available on request.

What does a COA show?

A COA confirms a compound's identity, states its measured purity, and ties both results to a specific lot number, so the report reflects the exact batch you're reviewing.

Are products third-party tested?

Yes. Testing is performed by an independent lab, not in-house. Reports are published in our COA library by lot number, and any compound without a listed report has its COA available on request.

How can I review quality documentation before ordering?

Search the COA library by compound name or lot number to check purity and identity data before you place an order as well as after it arrives.

Ordering and Shipping Questions

Dispatch windows, tracking, and where the full policies live.

Do you ship internationally?

Yes. International orders take longer to arrive depending on the destination, and we include the documentation needed to move through customs without unnecessary delays.

How fast do orders ship?

Orders are typically dispatched within one business day of order confirmation, with tracking sent as soon as the order ships.

How can I track my order?

Tracking details are emailed automatically once your order leaves our facility, so you can follow it from dispatch to delivery.

Where can I find shipping, return, and refund information?

Full shipping timelines and our return and refund policy are outlined on their dedicated pages, linked from checkout and the site footer.

Storage and Handling Questions

Keeping a compound stable between uses, and why lot numbers matter.

How should lyophilized peptides be stored?

Keep lyophilized vials sealed and cold, at 2 to 8°C for short-term storage or -20°C or colder for longer periods, and avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles. See the storage and handling guide for details.

How should peptides be protected from light and moisture?

Store vials away from direct light and seal them tightly between uses. Moisture exposure in particular can degrade a peptide faster than most other storage conditions.

Why does batch documentation matter during storage and handling?

Matching your vial's lot number to its COA lets you confirm you're working with the correct batch data, which matters if you're logging results or comparing purity across separate orders.
